Your shopping brief is useful context, not something to exploit.

This policy covers the Shopowo website and shopping research service. A merchant’s own privacy policy applies after you leave Shopowo to view or buy a product.

• Shopping briefs, including the product, budget, location and preferences you provide.
• Images or product links you deliberately attach to a brief.
• Technical and operational data needed to keep searches reliable, such as request timing, error records and device information.
• Account and administrative information when access-controlled features are enabled.

We use this information to understand your request, research suitable products, improve recommendation quality, prevent abuse and operate the service. We do not sell shopping briefs or use paid placements to secretly reorder organic results.

When an AI provider is configured, Shopowo sends the shopping brief and an attached image for structured intent or image understanding. Product catalogue requests are sent to Shopify Catalog with the selected market and currency.

• Shopping brief text and its anonymous session record are retained for up to 30 days in the configured database.
• Up to 50 recent shopping brief titles are kept in this browser’s local storage for up to 30 days and can be cleared from the Recent research page.
• Attached images are resized and stripped of metadata in memory. Originals are not saved; a low-resolution preview may be retained with the private brief for up to 30 days.
• De-identified operational analytics are retained for up to 12 months. Published research and administrator audit records are retained for the life of the service.

You can avoid optional personal details and clear recent searches at any time. Where applicable law gives you access, correction or deletion rights, Shopowo will provide a verified request channel before production launch.
